Energy Efficient Communities Can Save the Planet
Global Warming, Climate Change, GHGs, Six Degrees, CFCs, Kyoto… and the list keeps on growing every day. When you read these terms (fast becoming everyday vocabulary) do you ask yourself one of the following questions:
I see, hear and read these terms a lot, but what do they really mean, and how am I connected with them?
Global Warming, in brief, is when temperatures around the world rise causing severe changes (storms, floods, droughts, forest fires, sea-level rising, diseases, etc.) in the local climate and our lives. It has already been proven by leading scientists, that humans are the main causes of global warming.
How can I make a difference in a problem as massive as global warming? After all, I am just one individual!
We all know that individuals acting together, or even taking similar actions individually, can make a massive difference. Individuals make their homes and communities energy efficient, which, in turn, leads to less energy consumption in the aggregate, less burning of fossil fuels, less greenhouse gases, and therefore less Global Warming.
When? Right NOW! If we do not act now it might be too late.
Where? In your home, office and in your neighborhood.
How? Join WeGreen USA. We pool (in) our individual strengths and resources to help make our communities energy efficient and sustainable.
WeGreen USA, a non-profit, citizens action group, integrates the collective strength of individuals just like you, fighting together for the same cause and thus making a huge positive difference in the way we live.
Members of WeGreen USA are already helping some communities become green. Bring your community into the movement, and our combined efforts will help reduce Global Warming.
